"The mention of my daughter's
Name May bring tears to my
 Eyes but never fails to
 Bring Music to my ears.
If you are really my friend,
Let me hear the beautiful music
of her name.
 "Madison"
 It soothes my broken heart

And sings to my soul."

Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day, be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.

A LETTER TO MADISON Dear Maddy,
In tears we saw you sinking, we watched you fade away, you suffered much in silence, you fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, your spirit did not bend, but still you kept on fighting, until the very end. God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you, and whispered, "Come with Me". It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
We love you and will see you soon ... your loving family.
A LETTER FROM MADISON Dear Family ...
I am home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright! There is a perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, Ever restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, Safely home in Heaven at last. Did you wonder I so calmly Trod the valley of the shade? Oh! But Jesus love illumined. Every dark and fearful glade. And he came Himself to meet me in the way so hard to tread; And with Jesus' arm to lean on, Could I have one doubt or dread? Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still;' Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray and trust our Father's Will. There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly stand; Do it now while life remaineth - You shall rest in Jesus' land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; Oh the rapture of that meeting, Oh the joy to see you come!
My love to you all ... waiting for you .. Mighty Maddy

The 1st of each month is
"CHAIN-OF-COMFORT DAY"
Please light a candle for each
of your Angels.

Hello, God. . .
Hello, God. I called tonight To talk a little while... I need a friend who'll listen To my anxiety and trial.
You see, I can't quite make it Through a day just on my own. I need your love to guide me, So I'll never feel alone.
I want to ask you please to keep My family safe and sound. Come and fill their lives with confidence For whatever fate they're bound.
Give me faith, Dear God, to face Each hour throughout the day, And not to worry over things I can't change in any way.
I thank you, God, for being home And listening to my call; For giving me such good advice When I stumble and fall.
Your number, God, is the only one That answers every time. I never get a busy signal, Never had to pay a dime.
So thank-you, God, for listening To my troubles and my sorrow. Good-night, God. I love You, too. And I'll call again tomorrow! ~ Author Unknown ~

I'll Be There
Daddy please don't look so sad,
momma please don't cry.
'Cause I'm in the arms of Jesus and
He sings me lullabies.
Please, try not to question God,
don't think He is unkind.
Don't think He sent me to you, and
then He changed His mind
You see, I am a special child, and
I'm needed up above.
I'm the special gift you gave Him,
the product of your love.
I'll always be there with you, and
watch the sky at night.
Find the brightest star thats
gleaming, that's my halo's
brilliant light.
You'll see me in the morning frost,
that mists your window pane.
That's me, in the summer showers,
I'll be dancing in the rain.
When you feel a little breeze, from
a gentle wind that blows,
That's me, I'll be there, planting
a kiss on your nose.
When you see a child playing and
your heart feels a tug,
That's me, I'll be there, giving
your heart a hug.
So daddy, please don't look so sad,
and momma don't you cry,
I'm in the arms of Jesus, and He
sings me lullabies.

We are connected, my child and I,
by an invisible cord not seen by the eye.
Its not like the cord that connects us at
birth,
This cord can't be seen by any on earth.
This cord does its work right from the
start,
It binds us together, attached to my heart.
I know that it's there though no one can
see,
This invisible cord, from my child to me.
The strength of this cord, It's hard to
describe.
It can't be destroyed, It can't be denied.
It's stronger then any cord man could
create.
It withstands the test, Can hold any
weight.
And though you are gone and you're not
here with me.
The cord is still there, but no one can see.
It pulls at my heart, I am bruised, I am
sore.
But this cord is my lifeline, as never
before.
I'm thankful that God connects us this
way.
A mother and child... Death can't take it
away!

You're Precious in His Eyes
Trust God today He's still in charge,
Your life is safe with Him.
To Him your path ahead is bright,
Although to you it's dim.
Just place your trust in Him each day,
Each second and each hour.
Though you are weak and have no strength,
He is a God of power.
He'll lead you and He'll strengthen you
And He'll stay by your side.
Let Him be your everything
And in His peace abide.
There's nothing in your life, my friend,
That takes God by surprise.
He's in control and He loves you--
You're precious in His eyes. Bob Hefner '98

I'm sending you this Angel
To keep you safe and warm
Just tuck her in your pocket
She'll keep you safe from harm.
This happy little Angel
Is meant just for you
She'll bring you love and
happiness
In all you choose to do!

"Tomorrow morning," the surgeon began, "I'll open up your heart..."
"You'll find Jesus there," the girl interrupted.
The surgeon looked up, annoyed. "I'll cut your heart open," he continued, "to see how much damage has been done..."
"But when you open up my heart, you'll find Jesus in there." The surgeon looked to the parents, who sat quietly. "When I see how much damage has been done, I'll sew your heart and chest back up and I'll plan what to do next."
"But you'll find Jesus in my heart. The Bible says He lives there. The hymns all say He lives there. You'll find Him in my heart."
The surgeon had had enough. "I'll tell you what I'll find in your heart. I'll find damaged muscle, low blood supply, and weakened vessels. And I'll find out if I can make you well." "You'll find Jesus there too. He lives there." The surgeon left.
The surgeon sat in his office, recording his notes from the surgery, "...damaged aorta, damaged pulmonary vein, widespread muscle degeneration. No hope for transplant, no hope for cure. Therapy: painkillers and bedrest. Prognosis:," here he paused, "death within one year."
He stopped the recorder, but there was more to be said. "Why?" he asked aloud. "Why did You do this? You've put her here; You've put her in this pain; and You've cursed her to an early death. Why?"
The Lord answered and said, "The girl, My lamb, was not meant for your flock for long, for she is a part of My flock, and will forever be. Here, in My flock, she will feel no pain, and will be comforted as you cannot imagine. Her parents will one day join her here, and they will know peace, and My flock will continue to grow."
The surgeon's tears were hot, but his anger was hotter. "You created that girl, and You created that heart. She'll be dead in months. Why?"
The Lord answered, "The girl, My lamb, shall return to My flock, for she has done her duty: I did not put My lamb with your flock to lose her, but to retrieve another lost lamb."
The surgeon wept.
The surgeon sat beside the girl's bed; the girl's parents sat across from him.
The girl awoke and whispered, "Did you cut open my heart?"
"Yes," said the surgeon.
"What did you find?" asked the girl.
"I found Jesus there," said the surgeon.

"To My Mother"
I will always love you more than words can say. You gave me life, watched me grow. and never looked away.
Many times I think of you we're never far apart. Time can only magnify the love within my heart.
The memories we cherish distance cannot erase. I only have to close my eyes you're there within my space.
Love has a way of bonding two, uniting them as one, As though it were intended as the earth is to the sun.

I Am Not Alone
Gazing upon the vast horizon Admiring... Gods glorious sunrise I held a brand new day Right before my eyes
Not knowing what awaits me Or where my path will end Yet, my Lord is right here by my side For He is my Guide, my Protector My always closest Friend
I know with all my heart I do not walk this path... alone For every second... with Him I share In each moment I live and breathe It is He... that is always standing there
If today I reach a fork of uncertainty Upon this journey I travel so fair His loving hands will guide me With a graciousness beyond compare
When I reach my journeys end As I gaze toward the skies above Standing there, I know I am not alone For I'll thank Him once again For all His guidance, love and care Praising Him for always being there Brenda Conley

Little Angel
Oh my dearest, precious little one
There is nothing I can do or say
For God has called you to his side
Receiving your wings on this day.
I want to hug you so tight
But this is just not meant to be
With so many tears in my eyes
I cannot hardly talk, or see
Why God, what can be your need?
That you called my baby away
Leaving my heart in sorrow
On this tearfully sad day.
My Lord, my God far above
I try to understand
But it is so very hard here
For a woman or a man.
Lord, let them know about us
And of the love in our heart
Where they are now, we will come too
Our love not to lessen or depart .

THANK GOD FOR FRIENDS
Thank God for friends who really care And show you that they do. By acts of kindness, letters, calls, You know their love is true. These kinds of friends will stand by you When trouble comes your way. Tho storm clouds gather, friends of worth Will never turn away.
Thank God for each kind word they speak- Choice words that heal and bless, And for the way they comfort you In loving tenderness. Thank God for friends who really care And take the time to pray To ask that God will meet your needs And grant you strength each day.
It truly is a miracle What caring friends can do- God's hand extended, reaching out To help both me and you. I know you're thankful for your friends Just as I am for mine- These precious friends whose loving touch Reflects God's love divine.

Bedtime Angels
Angels are watching over us every single day.
They are there when we need them, they never go away. They watch us when we're sleeping and when we're wide awake.
They're there for every single , breath of air we take.
They help us find the words we need as we say our prayers.
You'll feel their Angelic presence and forget about your cares.
They lay right down beside us as we fall asleep.
They protect us from all harm and our souls they carefully keep.
They hold us in their loving arms oh so very tight.
They give us an Angel kiss as they softly whisper, " Good Night."
I am your little angel
and I'm sent from far away
To cheer you up if you are sad
or had a rotten day.
So when you find a home for me
make sure that it is near,
For when you to need to talk things out
I can lend an ear.
I'm here to make you smile
when you feel a little blue,
Just look into my eyes
and I'll smile right back at you.
Or when your feeling lonely,
and no one seems to care,
Remember angels do,
and we are everywhere. If you are scared and don't feel
safe,
and don't know what to do,
talk to me
and I will get you through.
Now find that special place for me
deep inside your heart,
And I will always be there for you
no matter how far apart.

Poems Written to remember Madison and to keep going on knowing she in a safe place with God! God strolls among the heavens, and together, down they look. The little one looks mystified, while the Lord writes in his book. My child, have you chosen? Which ones shall it be? Give much consideration... When you choose your family. I looked around the whole wide world, Till my eyes found your sweet face, I knew you were my mommy, I knew I'd found my place. Jesus sat beside me then, his eyes so kind and warm, Are you ready now, my precious one, To take on human form? Challenges await you child, a race that's yet to run, but your life shall teach others, when all is said and done. At times you'll see your mommy weep, You'll see her ask me, "Why"? But children bring the heart a smile, when the soul just longs to cry. Now go my child, and teach them faith, and should I bring you home... remind your dad and mommy that... "They'll never walk alone".
This one just speaks to MM's journey too..
Welcome Home
Each of us is given Precious time to spend on earth, But we know the journey leads us To a home of greater worth. Sometimes the Father takes us Down a path not of our choice, But when it leads to heaven, How our hearts and souls rejoice! And earthly cares all vanish When at last we hear God say, “Welcome home, My precious child, I led you all the way.”
